Intraware's CTO to join Inner Esteem Sdn Bhd

Intraware's Dr Anyu Lee to Provide Valuable Strategic Guidance to Malaysian B2B Internet Company

Kuala Lumpur, 1st May - Inner Esteem Sdn Bhd today announced that Dr. Anyu Lee, Chief Technology Officer of e-services at Intraware Inc (Nasdaq: ITRA - news) has been invited to join the Company's Board of Directors. Dr. Lee, a prominent and respected pioneer in developing key technologies, will be advising Inner Esteem on the company's future directions and in developing additional software applications for Supercorridor.com, the company's B2B portal site to be launched in June 2000. Dr. Lee's appointment will help strengthen Inner Esteem's credibility with potential technology and business partners. He will also provide invaluable insight and counsel in charting the company's success for the future.

Dr. Lee was recently awarded the honorary role of Chief Internet Consultant to the China Academy of Science, the only U.S. executive other than Jerry Yang of Yahoo! to be conferred such an honour.

Prior to his position with Intraware, Dr. Lee was the founder, president and chief technology officer of Internet Image Inc. Intraware acquired the company in October 1999. Among his many success stories, Dr. Lee can be counted as one of the pioneers in Application Deployment and Management (ADM) technology. He also developed key technologies for Java-based client agents, incremental file transfer and software upgrades. Dr. Lee has also received accolades for creating the award winning O2 Graphic workstation.

Dr. Lee has taught at the TsingHua University in Beijing and the SouthEast University in Nanjing. He is currently a guest professor and director of e-commerce research at the JiangTong University in Shanghai and holds an honorary professorship at the Northwestern Polytechnic University in California.

Dr. Lee holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, an M.S. In Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona, an M.S. in Fluid Dynamics and B.S. in Ship Building from the JiangTong University in Shanghai.
